Immunization Policy
Efforts to ensure a safe and healthy environment at camp are a top priority and include health promotion, of which immunization/vaccination is an important component. Camp Wabikon encourages all participants to be up to date with immunizations, in particular, but not limited to: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Pertussis, Tetanus, Diptheria, Polio, Meningococcal C Congugate, Chichen Pox and COVID-19. If vaccination details are not disclosed, Wabikon will assume the camper has not been vaccinated.
In the unlikely event that an outbreak of an infectious disease occurs at Camp, at the discretion of the Camp’s Directors and in consultation with the Camp’s medical staff and Public Health, any under-vaccinated or unvaccinated camper, CIT or Staff member may be required to leave Camp if the illness could put themselves or others at risk. In this situation, no refunds or monetary compensation will be issued.
